Charles Fred Durham – Obituary

Charles Fred Durham, 70, died Tuesday, February 26, 2019, in Tupelo. He was an electrician and former maintenance man for the Itawamba County School District. He attended First Baptist Church in Mantachie. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner. He loved his grandchildren and being outdoors. He enjoyed flowers, working, and aggravating people.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Dr. John Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Janis Durham of Mantachie; three daughters, Brandi Kohlheim of Tupelo, Elizabeth Patten and Mary Wages (Justin), both of Mantachie; his grandkids, Parker Linston and Memory McAlister of Tupelo; Chloe and Isabella Durham and Katheryn Patten of Mantachie; and Charlie, Cooper, and Carolina Wages of Mantachie; two brothers, Jay Durham (Edith) of Arkansas and Dan Durham (Jennifer) of Mantachie; and one sister, Linda Durham of Guntown.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Durham; his mother, Marie Bailey Julius; his father, Charlie Ed Durham; two sisters, Lura Christian and Barbara Williams; two brothers, Pete and Paul Durham; and a son-in-law, Brandon Patten.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Ivy, Matt Caldwell, Josh Caldwell, Mitchell Sample, Bud Duvall, Russ Durham, Terry Durham, and Parker Linston.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie
