Ruth Augusta Winstead Lee of Pulaski passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at The Gardens of Providence Place in Mt. Juliet, TN. She was born in Pulaski on July 18, 1922 and was 96 years old.
Ruth Augusta Winstead Lee of Pulaski passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at The Gardens of Providence Place in Mt. Juliet, TN. She was born in Pulaski on July 18, 1922 and was 96 years old.Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. In her younger days she was an avid golfer and tennis player and loved the outdoors. She loved to work in her flower garden and was a Methodist Church Sunday school and Bible school teacher. Ruth was very active with the girl scouts as a leader, cookie chairman, and day camp director.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Bobby Lee, parents, Willis Edgar and Adelaid Birdsong Winstead and a sister, Martha Winstead.
She is survived by her,
Daughter, Marty Lee (Dave Perreault) of Mt. Juliet
Daughter, Lucy Lee (Jay) Collins of S.C.
Son, Robert E. (Tammye) Lee III of ID
Grandchildren, Clayton and Kian Collins, Kathlene Lee Bailey and Robert E. Lee IV
3 great-grandchildren
Several nephews, nieces, cousins and lots of girl scouts.
