Mr. David Lee Gibson, age 68 of Anderson, AL passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at his home. Mr. Gibson was born on October 7, 1950 in Anderson, AL to Louis B. Gibson and Evie Simpson Gibson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Nancy Gibson; brothers, Horace, Delonie Gilbert, Mason and Billy Gibson; sister, Dorothy Madry; two infant siblings.
Mr. Gibson is survived by his son, Scotty Gibson (Tami); daughters, Teresa Hicks (Bennie), Paula Foust (Jason) and Patricia Townsend (Randy); 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Gibson; sisters, Joyce Alred, Reba Haggermaker, Mary Howard and Linda Meeks; sister-in-law, Linda Hicks and several family members.
Services for Mr. Gibson will be at 1:00PM on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Jerry Marlow and Chuck Hood officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00PM on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hester Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mr. Gibson’s grandsons.
