Lewis E. Parker, 84, of Town Creek passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his home. Visitation will be from 12 till 2 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Lawrence Funeral Home assisting the family. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. He was the husband of Shelby Parker.
Lewis worked at Reynolds Aluminum for 32 years and was a musician of all instruments.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Shelby Parker; sons, Randall Parker (Deborah) and Jeff Parker; grandson, Zack Parker (Leah); and four great grandchildren, Haven, Brady, Zoe and Bo.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Curtis Parker, Willard Parker, and Alton Parker; and sisters, Christine Scoggin, Norene Harris, Elouise Martin and infant sister, Sadie.
Pallbearers will be Zach Parker, Gary Parker, Drew Parker, Ross Parker, Roger Terry, and Benny Martin.
The family extends special thanks to the staff of Amedisys Hospice.
