Funeral service for Vivian Elane Hardin Summerford, 99, will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Roundtop Church with Rev. Pearl J. Jenkins and Rev. Steve Jones officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roundtop Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Roundtop Church.
Mrs. Summerford died on Sunday, February 17, 2019. She was born November 5, 1919, in Morgan County to Melvin Alec Hardin and Ruby Vesta Morris Hardin. She was a charter member of Roundtop Church and prior to her retirement worked as a Secretary and Receptionist for Dr. James Samuel Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband: Fred V. Summerford, her parents, a sister: Venera H. Howse, a brother: Herman Hardin.
