Funeral service for Lawrence Slaven, 57, will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnny Reid officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Slaven died on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born September 30, 1961, in Indiana to Austin Slaven and Eva Simpson Slaven. He was employed by the Copeland Corporation for 25 years as a forklift operator, prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Jimmy and Roger Slaven.
