Funeral services for Christopher ” Chris” Douglas, age 53, are scheduled for 2:00pm Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Independence Cemetery. Mr. Douglas passed away Saturday at his home. Mr. Douglas was born January 30, 1966 in Lexington to Boots and Brenda Stublefield Douglas. He was retired from 22 years at Lewis Gas Company. Survivors include his wife- Beneshia Anderson Douglas, parents- Boots and Brenda Douglas, 2 sons- Justin Christopher Douglas (Deserea) and Dylan Douglas, 2 daughters- Brittany Lee Douglas (Ricky Pearson) and Carrie Lee Stanley (David), 2 brothers- Shannon Douglas (Michelle) and Michael Douglas (Shonda), 3 sisters- Sharon Carey (Shan), Carla Montgomery (Michael) and Melanie Douglas, 5 grandchildren- Kara Lynn Pearson, Ricky Dewayne Pearson Jr., Sawyer Drake Douglas, Wesley James Stanley and Waylon Michael Stanley.
