Billy Elliott, 88, of Burnsville, MS, died Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. Mr. Elliott was a member of Lovejoy Baptist Church and a National Guard veteran of the Korean War. He was formerly employed at the Wurlitzer Company and Bonds Construction. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Helen Elliott of Burnsville; one son, Billy Don Elliott of Dallas, TX; two daughters, Judy Smith of Burnsville, and Tracey Carol Thornburg of Iuka; seven grandchildren, Jeremiah Smith, Lindi Whitaker, Chad Elliott, Hunter Thornburg, Chase Elliott, Alex Thornburg, and Jaydon Elliott; three great-grandchildren, Makayla Smith, Elena Smith, and Shep Whitaker; and two nephews, Ricky Miller and Joe Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. F. and Johnnie Odle Elliott; a brother, Lois Elliott; and a sister, Marie Miller. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Rev. Raybon Richardson. Interment will follow in Burnsville Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. An online guestbook can be accessed at www.cutshallfuneralhome.com.
