William Howard Hurd, Jr. of Lynnville passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, February 15, 2019. He was born in Prospect, Tennessee on May 30, 1940 and was 78 years old.He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great great-grandfather and brother. He was of the Church of Christ faith, was a farmer, raised game chickens, a factory worker and retired from Maury Fence Company and a friend to all.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 17th from 12:00pm until 3:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Funeral Service will follow visitation on Sunday, February 17th at 3:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Whitworth Hurd parents, William Howard Hurd, Sr. and Betty Rogers Hurd, sisters, Betty Jewell Dunnavant and Judith Ann Hurd.
