Ronald Gene Long, age 58 of Tanner, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Long was born April 10, 1960 in Russellville, AL to Ray Long and Margaret Coans.
Funeral services for Mr. Long will be held Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Ricky Lowry officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hester’s Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Jenkins; father, Ray Long; sons, Ronnie Long (Misty), Chad Powers (Toni) and Anthony Long; step-children, Steven Lauer and Alyssa Jenkins; brother, Larry Long; grandchildren, Madeline Long, Ronnie D. Long, Wyatt Spooner and Jorja Powers; niece, Tiffany Long; nephew, Jeremie Shelton; an numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers are Ronnie Long, Jeremie Shelton, Shannon Long, Mitch Marsh, Jackie Tucker and Mike Doerr.
