Roy Turpin Willis, 86, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Rosa Willis, and sister, Kathryn Ewing.
Mr. Willis was a longtime member of Latham United Methodist Church. He was a private pilot and had a love for flying. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Willis; daughter, Barbara Goodwin (Jeff); son, Patrick Willis (Allyson); sister, Nancy Fisher; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday, February 11th at Latham United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at the church with the Rev. Robert Sparkman officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. (www.laughlinservice.com)
