Mr. William Jerry Whitman, Sr. age 74 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away February 8, 2019. He worked for American Airlines as a mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Ann Whitman; children, Laura Ann Whitman Prince(husband, Matt), William J. Whitman Jr.(wife, Shari), Tony Whitman (wife,Jill ), Josh Balkenbush (wife,Bobijoe), Bryan Balkenbush (wife, Holly); brothers and sisters, John Whitman, Paul and Susie Whitman, Ron and Sue Whitman, MaryAnn Whitman(friend, Jim Finley); 14 grandchildren, Margo, Andrew, Brayden, Katie, Craig, Mark, Brandie, Jessi, Christopher, Gabby, Nate, Allison, Braydon, Macy; great grandchild, Sophia; also surviving are Roger Stewart and his wife Avis, who is like a brother; cousins, nieces, nephews and many other friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Thelma Clark; brothers Pat Whitman and Terry Whitman.
