ASAN Presents Tailgate Training at Bluewater Creek Farm Home

 KILLEN-Seed Starting and On-Farm Compost Making. Join us for a discussion, farm tour, and potluck in this educational and fun Tailgating event on February 24 at Bluewater Creek Farm from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM located at 2530 County Road 69 in Killen.

Tailgate trainings are peer-to-peer on-farm trainings conducted by producers for producers. Each training will include 20-30 participants from varying levels of experience and will be structured to meet the particular needs, questions, and circumstances of those in attendance. Trainings will occur in conjunction with a social component like a potluck or snack picnic.

Bluewater Creek Farm is a family owned and operated sustainable farm. They provide 100% grass-fed & finished beef, pasture-raised pork & poultry, fruits, vegetables, and honey to their community. Bluewater Creek Farm’s mission is to produce nutrient dense, clean food in a sustainable way.

Free event, but registration is required.
