Charles Ray Wilson – Obituary

Charles Ray Wilson age 70 passed away February 7, 2019 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born August 10, 1948 in McKenzie, TN, the son of the late E.C. and Lareda Darlene Henley Wilson. He grew up in Jackson, TN and graduated from Southside High School in 1967. He then attended State Technical Institute in Memphis and earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Accounting. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, serving honorably for four years. On June 2, 1973 he married Janelle Crockett. They made their home primarily in the Midsouth region all their married life and moving to Chester County in 2007.

He was an accountant and bookkeeper and after retiring he owned his own lawn care business A-1 Lawn Care for nine years.

He enjoyed boating and fishing, he loved dogs and leaves behind his spoiled Pekingese ‘Rambo’.

He was a Baptist in Faith.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Janelle May Crockett Wilson of Beech Bluff; a son, Tony Lynn Wilson (Cyndi) of Medina; five grandchildren, Andy Wilson, Amanda Wilson, Lauren Morris, Jack Hammer and Christian Wilson and a brother, Jerry Wilson of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Scott Douglas Wilson and a daughter, Carlie Michelle Hammer and a brother, Robert Wayne Wilson.

There will be no funeral services.
