James Ray Boshers – Obituary

Mr. James Ray Boshers, age 81, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

 

A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11AM at Arlington Cemetery with Donnie Boshers officiating. Military honors will be provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Born on January 16, 1938 in Maury County, James Ray was the son of the late Willie Webb Boshers and the late Ruby Pearl Evans Boshers. He was a life-long truck driver. James Ray was an avid pool player who enjoyed playing cards, golfing, and watching Nascar races and western movies. Above all, he loved his family.

 

He is survived by his son: Jason Ray (Stacy Davis) Boshers of Mt. Pleasant; brother: Van Boshers of Columbia; and sister: Sara Ellen Phillips of Hendersonville, Kentucky.

 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Wanda June Spears Boshers; sisters: Betty Jane Dugger, Effie Sutton, Dorothy Ann Derryberry, Louise Harris; and brothers: Webb Boshers, Bobby Lee Boshers, Grover Boshers, and Wade Boshers.

 

Pallbearers will be: Randall Woodard, Gomer Massey, Marcus Marlow, Donnie Boshers, Jason Ray Boshers, and Mikie G.
