Carl Bayless Hargrave, age 98 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at his granddaughters’ home in Hartselle. Mr. Hargrave was born July 23, 1920 in Limestone County to William Hargrave and Alma Bayless Hargrave.
Services for Mr. Hargrave will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with David Cox and Bobby Graham officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his granddaughters, Carol Bunn (David), Angie Carter (Eddie) and Beth Hargrave; daughter-in-law, Jaxie Hargrave; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Edna Earl Hargrave; son, Earl B. Hargrave.
Pallbearers are David Bunn, D.J. Bunn, Derick Bunn, Eddie Carter, Jordon Helms and Kyle Wenlick. Honorary pallbearer is Chris Jackson.
