Mildred Imogene Jones – Obituary

Mildred Imogene Jones of Prospect passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Tristar Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, TN. She was born in Lexington, Tennessee on August 2, 1932 and was 86 years old.
Mrs. Jones loved her family, her church and was a Sunday school teacher at Mayfair and Twickenham Church of Christ for over 50 years and loved to cook. She was past president of the UT Extension Home Demonstration Club in Pulaski and judged many fairs.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 8th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, February 9th at 12:00 noon at the Hare Cemetery, Lexington, Tennessee.

Memorial donations are suggested to Odd Fellows Hall Church of Christ, 1875 Odd Fellows Hall Road, Pulaski, TN. 38478

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Silas Jones, parents, Leslie Oscar and Mae Jowers Atkinson and a brother, Leslie Oscar Atkinson, Jr.
She is survived by her
Son Randy (Linda) Jones of Prospect, TN.
Grandson, Austin Jones of Prospect, TN.
Sister, Laverne Crockett of Wildersville, TN.
Several nephews, nieces and friends also survive.
