Wilma Jean McDaniel, 84, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the North Mississippi Hospice Unit. She was born October 25, 1934, to William Robert and Anna Kate Dykes Wright. She was an active member of New Chapel Methodist Church. She was retired from Foamex. She was a member of the Richmond Eastern Star and enjoyed attending Corner Stones and The Gathering meetings. She was an inspiration to people and loved sending cards to people. She enjoyed word search puzzles and was a regular at Comer’s Restaurant.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2019, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Rev. Danny Wilburn officiating. Burial will be in the New Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, William Robert “Robby” Waggoner (Regina) of Nettleton; one daughter, Kathy Mincher (Dave) of Florissant, MO; one brother, Lee Allen Wright (Angie); one sister, Barbara Ann Neal; one sister-in-law, Sandy Wright; one granddaughter, Tiffany Tubb, all of Nettleton; several nieces and nephews , and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard McDaniel; one brother, William Robert Wright, Sr.; four sisters, Virginia Ruth McCarley, Patsy Louise Waggoner, Gwenda Jane Bennett, Mary Evelyn Wright; and he parents.

Pallbearers will be Chris Gillentine, David Gillentine, Sonny White, Stephen Blake, Danny Chumney, and Bubba Bennett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lloyd Waggoner, Timmy Neal, Hershell Bennett, Tommy McCarley, and Sammy Burt.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p. m. Thursday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Evergreen-Carolina Fire Dept. or New Chapel Cemetery, % Lee Wright, 2331 New Chapel RD, Nettleton, MS 38858.
