Sandra Gail Batterton – Obituary

Sandra Gail Batterton, 65, died suddenly Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at her home. She was born disabled. She enjoyed playing with her cards, colors and coloring books, magazines, and baby dolls. She is now at her eternal home, in her heavenly body, with her Lord and Savior.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. James Young officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery.

Survivors include her sister and care-giver, Tina Fisher (William Taylor) of Mantachie; a special friend and care-giver, Janice Lewis of Mooreville; two nephews, Jonathan Fisher of Tupelo, and Michael Fisher of Water Valley; two aunts, Barbara Ann Higgins of Arkansas, and Sue Smith of Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her father, Guy Batterton; her mother, Clara Sims Fisher; and a brother, Mike Fisher.

Pallbearers will be William Taylor, Jonathan Fisher, and Michael Fisher.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Friday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
