Funeral service for O.D. Holmes, 77, will be Friday, February 8, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Russell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Holmes died on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was born May 16, 1941, in Morgan County to Brone H. Holmes and Essie Dunlap Holmes. Mr. Holmes served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was the owner of Holmes Mobile Home Parts and Repairs. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Freda Bernard and Sarah Williams and two brothers: Jimmy and Ellis Holmes.
