Effie Thames – Obituary

Mrs. Effie Thames, 91, of Toney, passed away Monday. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Calvin Thames; children, David Thames, Renā Creech, and Cassandra Bauman (Ricky); grandchildren, Jarad Creech and Wesley Bauman; great-grandchild, Evan Creech; and sisters, Mary Skipper, Louise Melton, and Jean Pegram.

Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with the Rev. Don Paris officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
