Joseph Lee Moore – Obituary

Joseph Lee Moore, 22, died Monday, February 4, 2019, in the Ozark Community, as the result of an accident. He was a 2015 graduate of Mantachie High School, where he enjoyed playing football. He was employed as a machine operator at WestRock. He loved duck hunting, deer hunting, fishing, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a Baptist in belief.

Services will be at 2:00 p. m. Thursday, February 7, at the Ozark Baptist Church with Bro. Ray Guin, Bro. Douglas Kitchens, and Bro. Keith Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkville Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Mantachie is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his parents, Tim and Lisa Moore; one brother, Chris Stacy (Christen), all of Ozark; one sister, Leslie Sheffield (Brandon) of Dorsey; his grandparents, Shelby and JoAnn Moore of Tupelo; several nieces and nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wintford and Hilma Guin.

Pallbearers will be Chris Crawley, Little Mac Grimes, Jessie Waddle, Welton Riley, Alston Dill, Andrew Dill, Justin Barber, Jakob Roberts, and Will Reynolds.

Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Ozark Baptist Church.
