Guy William Gann – Obituary

Guy William Gann, 84, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Holly Springs Nursing and Rehab Facility.  A lifelong resident of Lee County, Guy was born August 30 1934, in Shannon the son of Guy and Opaline Gann.  He served 4 years in the US Navy and was retired from Atlas Truckbody in Wren.  He was a member of Carnation Baptist Church in Okolona.  Guy loved his family dearly and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing card games like Rook and Spades.  He was avid Ole Miss Rebels fan.

Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, February 5, 2019 with Bro. Lowell Walker officiating.  Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time

Guy leaves behind his daughter, Cindy Stults (Terry) of Tupelo; 2 grandchildren, Timothy and Chris Stults; 3 great-grandchildren, Preston, Kendyll and Cooper; and two sisters, Estelle Holley of Nettleton and Lynn Curtis of Shannon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joan Gann, and a brother-in-law, Bill Curtis

Honorary Pall bearers will be Billy Curtis, Billy Holley, Randy Holley, and Johnny Holley
