Irene Sanders left her earthly family to join her Lord and Savior, on Jan. 31, 2019, just one month shy of her 90th birthday.  She was born on March 2, 1929, the first daughter of Jerdie and Iver Tipton, in Carlisle, TX and spent the majority of her life in Baytown, TX.  A graduate of Robert E. Irene was a longtime member of St. James United Methodist Church.  She was a fine Christian example, generous, compassionate, humble, sweet spirited lady who loved everyone.  Her passions included any family gatherings, deer and duck hunting, fishing, Braves baseball, gardening, cooking, travel, dominoes, Bingo, puzzles and all animals.  Her fierce hello and goodbye hugs and genuine musical laughter will be greatly missed.
