Garth Powell Davis, age 83 of Elkmont, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Davis was born December 8, 1935 in Limestone County to Marshall Glenn Davis and Ora Lee Glanton Davis.
Services for Mr. Davis are Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with Junior Cano officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evans Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Judy C. Davis; sons, Marshall Scott Davis (Kim) and Kenny Thompson; daughter, Cathy Nichols (Jamie); grandchildren, Shooter Davis, Josh Thompson, Will Thompson, Spencer Davis, Colson Nichols and Finley Nichols; great grandchild, Cason Davis; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Ora Davis; brothers, Don Davis and Allen Grey Davis.
Pallbearers are Jamie Nichols, Josh Thompson, Will Thompson, Spencer Davis, Nicky Davis and Shooter Davis.
