Thelma Ruth Murray, age 77, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Russellville Healthcare.
Thelma worked for 17 years as a CNP in the lunchroom at Tharptown School. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a loving and fun woman, who will be missed by all who knew her.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Jeremy Seal officiating. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Murray; parents, Edward & Wilodean (Bratcher) Robinette; brothers, Charles Robinette, Glen Robinette, Gifford Robinette; granddaughters, Brooke Murray, Haylie Murray; and great-granddaughter, Aubrey Calhoun.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Diane Mims (husband, Jimmy), Ricky Murray (wife, Carol), David Murray (wife, Jean), Mark Murray, Michael Murray (wife, Kathryn), Chris Murray; grandchildren, Heather, Alisha, Dusty, Matthew, Ryan, Melissa, Jaceton, Jordan, Madison, Grayson, Krista; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Jessie, Nichole, Landon, Emoree, Makenna, Lennox, Kelan, Kaiden, Karleigh, Leighton; great-great-grandchild, BreAnna; sisters, Betty Robinette, Gertie Montgomery (husband, Jimmy), Marlene Gray; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be Grayson, Landon, Dusty, Matt, Ryan, and Jaceton.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kelly and all of the staff at Russellville Healthcare whom she dearly loved, the nurses and staff of North Alabama Hospice; and a special niece, Faye & Jeremy Seal for your love and care of our family.
