Neva Gray Cantrell Hughes, age 87, of Hamilton, AL passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at NMMC- Tupelo. She was born in Lamar County, Alabama to James Murray Cantrell and Ruby Mae Burks Cantrell.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 12-2 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Stancil officiating. Burial will be at Hughes Young Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Cantrell; brother, Arthur Cantrell; sister, Hildred Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Bunk Hughes; children, Mike (Pam) Hughes, Steve (Susan) Hughes, Jim (Pam) Hughes, Denise (Patrick)Crowe, Lillie Hughes; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
