Lois Marie Lott 87, of Hartselle passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Decatur Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Lott was born August 25, 1931, to Ervin and Velma Terry. She loved God, her family and all children. She was a former kindergarten teacher at Bethel Baptist Church and later worked in retail sales and manufacturing. She was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church in Hartselle, a kind-hearted neighbor and a treasured mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and her husband, Willie F. Lott.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Lott and Conley Lott, both of Hartselle; two daughters, Sharon Haggermaker of Hartselle and Susan Hilldebrand of Lebanon, Tennessee; four sisters, Loretta Cothren of Decatur, Bobbie Jean Dudley of Decatur, Judy Long of Kentucky and Gloria Hilse of Missouri; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today, January 15, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home followed by a 1 p.m. chapel service. Burial will follow in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
