SHEFFIELD – Sheffield Police have confirmed that an infant and adult female have succumbed to their injuries as a result of Friday night’s two-car collision at S. Montgomery Avenue and Jackson Highway.
The names have not been released. Investigators on the scene last told The Quad-Cities Daily that there were 2 persons who were so critically injured that their survival was unlikely.
The Alabama Department of Public Safety is leading the investigation.
