Jo Ann Arnold Hare, 70 of Tuscumbia, died Friday, January 11, 2019. Her visitation will be Monday, January 14, 2019 from 11:00-2:00 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church with the funeral service immediately following with Bro. Greg Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
Jo Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was the owner and operator of Jody’s Restaurant and a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Marcelline Arnold; son, Jason Mark Kennedy; and great grandson, Carter Stephen Slone.
Jo Ann is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, William “Bill” Hare; sons, Keith Kennedy (Traci), Greg Kennedy (Shawn) and Jonathon Hare (Emily); daughter, Shuree Gomez; brother, Jimmy Arnold (Donna); grandchildren, Courtney McQueen (Brandon), Ryan Kennedy (Sydney), Sydney Thompson (Josh), Marissa Bush (Derrik), Hunter Kennedy, Jon David Hare, Braden Hare, Michaela Gomez, Noah Gomez and Isaiah Gomez; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim McMullins, Shawn Malone, Shane Puckett, Leon Tidwell, Patrick Hall and Johnny Todd.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Muscle Shoals Fire Department.
