Charles  Edward Sullivan Charles Edward Sullivan, age 78, of Cherokee, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019. His visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. His funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Randall Michael and Bro. James Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Barton Cemetery.

Charles was a native of Colbert County, Alabama and retired from Robbins Tire and Rubber Co. after forty years of service. He was a member of Barton Methodist Church and a loving, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Charles was an avid Auburn Football Fan. “War Eagle”!!!

He is preceded in death by his parents, Varnie and Lillie Mae Sullivan, and six siblings.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Carolyn Patrick Sullivan; son, Douglas Sullivan (Carolyn); daughter, Lisa Sullivan Dobbs (Joe); brothers, William, Bobby, and Kenneth Sullivan; sister, Jewel Turberville; five grandchildren, Tony Pounders (Tasha), Shawn Sullivan (Tennille), Cody Dobbs, Jenny Jones (A.J.), and Kevin Dobbs; eight great-grandchildren, Addison, Marlee, Cayson, Chloe, Wendell, Bradley, Zach, and Austin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Pounders, Shawn Sullivan, Cody Dobbs, Jerry Sullivan, Robert Sullivan, and William Sullivan.
