Arthur “Jack” White – Obituary

Arthur “Jack” White, 86, of Florence, passed away January 9, 2019. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Springfield, Missouri. Mr. White was a native of Springfield, Missouri and a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He attended Vanderbilt University and retired from Ball Corporation. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Penny Weston; one grandchild, his parents, and five siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Linda White; daughters, Terri Ridenour (Jeff) of Huntsville and Toni Wilkerson (Luke) of Springfield, Missouri; son, Jeffrey White (Lea) of Meridianville, Alabama; stepson, Craig Newman of Norfolk, Virginia; brother, James White of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Nell Moore of Springfield, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-granddaughter.

The family expresses special thanks to the staff at Mitchell Hollingsworth and Community Care Hospice.
