Steve graduated from MPHS in 1982 and earned his Associate Degree in Psychology at Columbia State Community College in 1986. He had a positive outlook on life always finding the good in people and circumstances. He was giving to a fault and very meticulous; he liked for things to be in order at all times. He loved animals and found great joy caring for them. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. His great-niece Ellah and great-nephew Cullen were the light of his life. He is loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Steve is survived by his parents; Frank and Carolyn Shaw, sister; Sharon Shaw (Steve Sims), niece; Nicole Taylor (Adam), great-nephew; Cullen Taylor, niece; Ellah Taylor, aunts; Janice (George) Osborne and Helen (Tommy) Desruisseaux.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p. to 8:00 pm on January 10, 2019.
