James Curtis Elkins, age 83, of Lynn, Alabama, passed away January 7, 2019 at his residence. He was a member of Lynn Baptist Church.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service is at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with John Humphres officiating. Burial in Lynn Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Doug Jones, Richard McGough, Austin Stephenson, Riley Humphres, Cory Terry.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Tidwell Elkins; children, Debra (Bill) Jones, Rhonda (Butch)McGough and Tina (Billy) Stephenson; sister, Barbara Duke; grandchildren, Doug Jones, Amy Humphres, Amanda McGough, Richard McGough, Halie Terry and Austin Stephenson; great grandchildren, Katie Humphres, Riley Humphres, Faith Jones and Hunter Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mildred Grace Elkins; brother, Howard Elkins.
