Perry Louise “Judy” Newton passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Meadowbrook Healthcare. She was born in Atlanta, GA on October 4, 1941 and was 77 years old.
Mrs. Newton married Glen A. Newton in December of 1977.She was a graduate of William A. Bass High School, worked for the state of GA for 8 years, then 20 years self-employed. She was a member of the GA and TN Sherriff’s Association, and loved to fish.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 11:00am until 11:30 am with the funeral service starting at 11:30 am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Jon Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Perrin and Kathryn Weems Ross and sister, Robbie R. Waters
