Dorthy Stanford, 87, of Iuka, MS, died Monday, January 7, 2019, at Landmark Nursing Home in Booneville. Mrs. Stanford enjoyed talking and spending time with her family, as well as sewing. She also loved computers and investigating haunted houses and jazz music on YouTube. She is survived by two sons, Jerry House (Diane) and Terry House (Tammy); one daughter, Lisa Hodgin (Steven); ten grandchildren, Chris Gray (Crysta), Pam Gray, Kevin Gray, Chase House (Yvonne), Selina House Pruitt (Robin), Brooklyn McFalls (Joshua), Logan Lover (Logan), Josh Hodgin (Ashley), Kelsey Hodgin, and Cory Wilson; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Carolyn Morgan; and her parents, Lerchie M. and Goldie Waddle. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Minister Steven Hodgin. Interment will follow in South Crossroads Cemetery. Pallbearers include Lynn House, Terry House, Christopher Gray, Joshua Hodgin, Cory Wilson, and Robin Pruitt. Honorary pallbearers include Kaye Johnson and Leon Gray.
