Mr. Robert E. Wallace, 89, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away at Mitchell Hollingsworth, Florence, Alabama, on Sunday, January 6, 2019. A native of Madison County, Alabama, he had lived in Russellville for more than 33 years. An Auburn graduate and a retired electrical engineer, he was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ in Russellville. In addition, he was a veteran and served during the Korean War.
Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Marlon Rutherford officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Russellville.
Mr. Wallace is survived by his son, Chris Wallace and wife Cheri Wallace, and two grandchildren, Slate Wallace and Julianna Wallace. Nieces and nephews also survive him.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Theresa Hargett Wallace, and parents, Albert Wheeler and Mamie Broadway Wallace.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
