Memorial service for Shelby Jean Calhoun Parsons was Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Patrick Franklin officiating.
Mrs. Parsons died Saturday, Oct. 20, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 12, 1958, in Russellville. Mrs. Parsons was a floor tech at Decatur Health and Rehabilitation.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Audie Mae Thompson Calhoun.
Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Parsons; one daughter, Tonya Frazier (Connie Goodlow) of Hillsboro; her father, Billy Roland Calhoun of Moulton; four brothers, Billy Wayne Calhoun, Virgil Calhoun, Ricky Lynn Calhoun and Gary Don Calhoun; and one grandson.
