Christopher Dale “Hooper” Hooper, 39 years old of Hatton passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Lawrence Medical Center. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Hatton Church of Christ. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Hatton Church of Christ. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery. Lawrence Funeral Home assisting the family.
Chris loved to spend time with his girls and he loved to hunt and fish. He loved to watch funny videos on U-Tube.
Survivors include his daughters: Landry Hooper and Karsyn Hooper, His parents, Susan and Larry Hurst, one sister: Tracy Crowell (Jamie) his grandmother: Linda Holden, his grandfather: Buddy “Papa” Cathcart, his neice: Kendal Crowell, his aunts: Cathy, Patricia, Charlotte and Bobbie Jean, other family: Ken, Marquitta, Prissy, Shannon and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son: Holden Lane Hooper, his grandfather: Bobby Gene Holden, his uncle: Dave Childers and his great grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Anthony “Goose” Bishop, Jeff Dean, Slick Jones, Jerome Roberts, Paul Mitchell, and Greg Hamm. Honorary Pallbearer: Calvin Moyers
A special Thanks to his multitude of friends that always had a kind word and helping hand and stood by him through thick and thin.
