Johnny Lee SandlinJohnny Lee Sandlin, 47, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018, at his home. He was born March 29, 1971, to Donald Lee Sandlin and Clara Faye Johnson Graham. He was a 1989 graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School and was a member of Oak Ridge Christian Church in Tupelo. He was a U.S. veteran of Operation Desert Storm 1990-1991 and served eight years in the Army National Guard where he was a specialist in Company D, 1st Battalion 198th Army 155th Armored Brigade. He worked over 15 years at Cooper Tire before joining Yokohama Tire Company. He also worked part-time in John Deere Sales at Scruggs for many years during his spare time. He loved the Atlanta Braves baseball team.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 27, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery.

Survivors include his children, Katelyn, Kennedy, and Justin Sandlin, all of Saltillo; his parents, Donnie and Lisa Sandlin of Peppertown and Clara and Jerry Graham of Fulton; his sister, Kim Thorn (Eric) of Peaceful Valley.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Edith Sandlin; his maternal grandparents, Hassell and Dewdrop Johnson; and an infant sister, Pamela Kay.

Honorary pallbearers will be the John Deere Salesmen at Scruggs and his fellow crew members at Yokohama.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
