Andy Christian, 57, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. He was born August 22, 1961, in Baldwyn to Jimmy and Sara Brazeal Christian. He was a member of Lakeland Southern Baptist Church. He worked as a computer operations specialist for North Mississippi Medical Center Facility Operations for a number of years before his health forced his retirement. He previously worked for Stone Container in Saltillo and as a construction worker for R.J. Wilemon. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, working with cars, and playing the guitar.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 23, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Cody Crum and Bro. Lynton Younger officiating. Burial will be in the Stephens Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Patsy Christian of Mantachie; two sons, Josh Christian (Lindsay) of Mooreville and Jonathan Christian of Mantachie; his parents, Jimmy and Sara Christian of Mantachie; one brother, Nathan Christian (Lindsey) of Mantachie; one sister, Beverly Humble (Tim) of Mantachie; two precious grandsons whom PaPaw Andy adored, Conner Christian and Caleb Christian; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cortez and Ollie Brazeal and Rander and Juanita Christian; two uncles, Randy Christian and Larry Christian; and his best friend, Charles Smothers.

Pallbearers will be Todd Davis, Dallas Vick, Tim Humble, Carlton Graham, Donnie Turner, Kirby Turner, Billy Mullins, and Ray Livingston. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of NMMC Facility Operations and members of the Tombigbee Water Association Board.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 22, at the funeral home.
