James Eckle Williams, 83, died Thursday, December 20, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 26, 1935 in Atwood, AL and was retired from M & M Mars after thirty-three years.
Services will be Monday, December 24, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are four children – Barbara Fay Williams, Chicago, IL, James Allen Williams, Chicago, IL, Michael Bruce Williams, Hodges, AL and Annette Hamby (James V.), Hodges, AL; one granddaughter – Cassie Williams; brothers and sisters – Bobbie Lynn Williams, Marion Wallace, Ann Cantrell, Billy Joe Williams and Hertis Williams and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ellen Fox Williams, his parents, Claude Nolan Williams and Iris Page Williams, two sisters, Sandra Gail Williams and Claudie Mae Hudson and one brother, Herbert Williams.
Visitation will be Monday, December 24, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
