Clarabell Louise Ellis Wood – Obituary

Clarabell Louise Ellis Wood, 94, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018, in Fulton. She was born October 8, 1924 to the late Clive Gustin Ellis and the late Myrtle Mae Drumheler Wood. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always had a smile and a kind word. She loved to cook, sew, and gardening. Her favorite thing was her family. She loved the Lord and was a Baptist in belief. The family extends a generous thank you to Gentiva Hospice group that cared so graciously for our sweet mother.

Services will be 2:00 pm on Thursday December 20, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Monaghan and Bro. Roger Wood officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm Thursday at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughters: Judy Payne of Fulton and Rebecca (Tom) Monden of MI; son: Edward (Phyllis) Wood of GA; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon McNaughton of MI.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Benjamin E. Wood, daughter, Audrey Wood, son, Douglas Wood, son-in-law, Bill Payne, grandson, Thomas Mondon, and four brothers.

Pallbearers will be Tim Lewis, Chris Mondon, Richie Steele, Ed Wood, Tom Mondon, Ray Warren
