Arlene Osborne Benefield, age 58, resident of Culleoka, passed away Saturday, December 15, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Services for Mrs. Benefield will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 18th in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Glen Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at Heritage Funeral Home.
Born March 9, 1960 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Childress Osborne and wife of Richard Benefield. She worked as an office manager for Southern Physical Therapy and was a member of Campbell Station Church of Christ. She graduated from Culleoka School where she was on the basketball and softball team. Her hobbies included raising vegetables and flowers, going to the beach and just being outdoors.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Caleb (Courtney) Benefield and Wesley (Worm) Benefield, both of Culleoka; brothers: Ted (Lori) Osborne of Lewisburg and Lewis (Lisa) Osborne of Culleoka; sister: Thelma Boatwright; grandchildren: Paizlee and Laney Benefield.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Taylor, Ernie Smith, Jim Gibson, Ray Morrow, Edward Kerr and Charlie Dugger. Honorary pallbearers will be member of Campbell Station Church of Christ and her Culleoka neighbors.
