Fred Ader – Obituary

 Fred AderFred Ader, 92, of Athens passed away Saturday, December 15th, 2018 at Limestone Health Facility. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Navy and owner/operator of Freddy’s Place in Wharton, New Jersey for over 40 years. He was proud of his service of past master of Acacia Lodge #20 of Dover, New Jersey as well as a member of the Shriners International and the American Legion Post #91.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, December 18th at 2:00 p.m. at The Barge/Mercy Station with Pat Driskell officiating followed by a celebration of Mr. Ader’s life. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Wallace Cemetery with military honors. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathaniel Smith, Tom Morton, Bobby Cowan, Paul Wilson, John Wilson, Steve Copland, Tom Strain, Gary Mathany and Matt Copeland.
Mr. Ader was preceded in death by his wife, Ninfa Ader. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Field.
