Funeral services for James E. “Jimmy” Dean, 73 of Hanceville will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Hanceville Funeral Home chapel, Reverends Dudley Brock and Dennis Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. His family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening beginning at 5:30.
Jimmy was a retired Alabama State Trooper and also from the Alabama National Guard.
The son of the late Lewis and Una Crauswell Dean is survived by his wife, Patty; Children, Matt (Celette) Dean of Cullman and Michael (Michelle) Dean of Holly Pond, a host of grandchildren and a sister, Faye Ratliff of Hanceville. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Alan Dean
