Terry Dwight Bass – Obituary

Terry Dwight Bass, 73, of Decatur, Georgia died on December 10, 2018 after a two and half year battle with cancer. Mr. Bass was born in Pulaski and was the son of the late Nathan and Ona Mai Bass.
After graduating from Minor Hill High School in 1963, he proudly served in the United States Navy from 1964 until 1968. Dwight lived in Lester, Alabama for 49 years and was a long time employee of Magotteaux in Pulaski.
In addition to his parents Dwight was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Gene Bass; sisters, Elise Bass and Virginia Hill; and granddaughter, Isabella Mai Bass.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandy Bass; son, Mark Bass and his wife, Stephanie Bass; daughter, Jenny Bass and her husband, Jamie Walker; grandchildren, Ava Bass, Charlie Walker and Trey Walker; brother, Julian Bass; and sisters, Helen Walters and Jeanene Merrell.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 15, 2018 from noon until 2:00 pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in Pulaski. A memorial service at the Bennett-May-Giles County Chapel will follow at 2:00pm
