Mrs. Wilma Jean Lang Mrs. Wilma Jean Lang, age 81, of Arab, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Lang was born on October 2, 1937 in Jefferson County to James Clayton Chaney & Mary Francis Albright Chaney. She was married to the late James “Jim” Edwards Lang who passed on March 8, 1985. Mrs. Lang enjoys cooking, sewing, thrift shopping, tending to flowers and enjoys spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of Joppa United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Lang is survived by her daughters & son-in-law, Debbie Miller Blackmon & Charlie, Lynn Alexander & Mark; son & daughter-in-law, Rickey Lang & Sylvia; step daughters, Gail Holmes, Shirley Mott; step son, Jerry Lang; grandchildren, Hannah Ervin & Joseph, Billy Miller & Brett, Chris Wilson, Lindsey Walker & Kevin, Jackie Slaton & Michael, Danny Blackmon & Melissa, Jeffery Miller & Tracie, Steve Miller & Lisa; great grandchildren, T.J. Turney, Logan Walker, Cody Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Kallie Wilson; host of relatives. Preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Edwards Lang; parents, James Clayton Chaney & Mary Francis Albright Chaney; sons, Bobby Joe Lang, Ronnie Lang; daughter, Tammy Lang.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Randy Blakely & Bro. Billy Vaughn, officiating. Burial will be in Ridgway Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Blackmon, Rickey Lang, Joseph Ervin, Logan Walker, Shane & Justin.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
