Alan Scott Lee, Sr. – Obituary

Memorial service for Alan Scott Lee, Sr., age 54, of Decatur, will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Austinville Church of Christ with Shelton Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service at the church.

Mr. Lee, who died Saturday, December 8, 2018, in Lawrence County, was born March 3, 1964, in Nashville, TN to Paul Foster Lee and Mary Jacqueline Johnson Lee.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  In 1987, he obtained his B. S. from Auburn University in Industrial Engineering.  He went on to graduate from Auburn in 1989  with his Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  He owned and operated High-Focused Improvements, Inc., and started the North Alabama branch of Batteries Plus Bulbs.  Mr. Lee served as a Deacon and Elder for Austinville Church of Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sonia Lynn Clark Lee of Decatur; two sons, Alan Scott Lee, Jr. (Ariel) of Hartselle, and Logan Clark Lee of Decatur; one daughter, Laurin Lee Vonada (Tristan) of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Skyler James Lee, Tucker Alan Lee, and Baby Boy Vonada; uncles and aunts, Bobby and Jackie Johnson, Pat Johnson, Anne Johnson, Bill and Shirley Lee, Ruby Haney, and  Peggy and Kim Foster; and his father- and mother-in-law, Robbie and Aloma Clark.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Maywood Christian Camp, P. O. Box 776, Hamilton, AL 35570.
