Jamie LaNette CuttenMrs. Jamie LaNette Cutten, age 49 of Athens, AL passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Cutten was born on November 12, 1969 in Cullman, AL to Jimmy Morrell Dye and Connie S. Evans.

Mrs. Cutten was preceded in death by her father; sister, Darinda Leigh Boland; grandfather, Edward Dye; father-in-law, Harold J. Cutten and her brother-in-law.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years Patrick James Cutten of Athens, AL; children, Chelsea Cutten of Athens, AL and Private 1st Class Daniel J. Cutten of Fort Lee, VA; granddaughter, Kaedyn Ann Everly Cutten; mother, Connie S. Evans of Vinemont, AL; grandmother, Helen Dye of Huntsville, AL; step-mother, Denise Durkee of Athens, AL; mother-in-law, Martha D. Cutten of Huntsville, AL; half-sisters, Randi Miller and Lisa Wallace; half-brother, Jason Dye and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Mrs. Cutten was a member of The Rock Family Worship Center and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Her family was the most important thing in her life; she was a loving wife, mother, daughter and grandmother.

Mrs. Cutten loved going to the beach, doing crafts, arranging flowers, decorating and cleaning her house. She adored her fur babies, Lily, Tinkerbell, Anna, Oreo and pot-bellied pig, Peppa. She enjoyed the outdoors, sunshine and family trips together.

Her nickname was “Sunshine” and we were all better, wiser and grateful to have had her in our lives. Anyone who met her was thankful for the little bit of sunshine she gave them.

Services for Mrs. Cutten will be at 11:00AM on Friday, December 14, 2018 at The Rock Family Worship Center on Old Railroad Bed in Madison with Pat Aube and Steven Mercer officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00PM on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
